Crying it out is hard on both of us

So Easton has been sleeping pretty rough these days, he has been getting up three times a night or more.  The other sleeping problem we seem to have is that Easton needs to be nursed, rocked or bounced to sleep while swaddled.  And it isn't always conducive to have to go through those steps.  Today I decided to let him cry it out for his nap un-swaddled.  I took a lot of strength not to sweep him up to stop the crying but it was well worth it.  Not only did he finally fall asleep with no swaddle but this evening I put him in his crib swaddled but awake and he fell asleep on his own no crying.  It could be a fluke but it seems like the crying it out is a pretty good idea, we will see how it goes.

So Easton only woke up one time for a feeding last night and he slept in until 8:30. I feel refreshed!
